Cardiology (Electrocardiograms)

Heart disease in pets can be as insidious as it is in people. In other words, it often goes undetected until it is too late. However, with early diagnosis, the progression of heart disease can often be managed and delayed. We can evaluate your pet’s heart by taking an x-ray and performing an EKG (electrocardiogram). An EKG measures the electrical activity of the heart. X-rays allow us to see the general shape and size of your pet’s heart as well as the surrounding lung tissue.
