EKGs (electrocardiograms)
▪ Allows the evaluation of the electrical activity of the heart for evidence of heart disease. Pictured to the right, an EKG is being performed on a Doberman. The EKG is transmitted by telephone to a cardiologist who reviews the results and faxes over his/her recommended treatment options.
Tonometry
▪ Measurement of the intraocular pressure (pressure within the eye), allowing us to evaluate your pet for glaucoma (increased ocular pressure) which can result in blindness.
Microchip placement
▪ Using a special syringe, a tiny computer chip is placed under your pet's skin as a form of permanent identification.
